15 Interesting Facts About The Daniel Craig Bond Films

10. Alfonso Cuaron And Guillermo del Toro Provided Background Voices

Alfonso Cuaron and Guillermo del Toro are two very acclaimed directors in their own right. From Gravity to Pan€™s Labyrinth, these men have made their name behind the camera, but these Mexican filmmakers also have another claim to fame: background roles in Quantum Of Solace. Despite neither being known as actors, you€™ll find both of them listed in the cast.

The cause behind this development was fairly simple. As both were friends with director Marc Forster, he approached them to help out with some voices for the Bolivian section of the film. Specifically, del Toro provided multiple background voices for army personnel and Cuaron voiced the helicopter pilot.

You wouldn€™t even be able to pick these voices out, so the notion of them being included can scarcely even be considered a cameo. The reasons why they were used as opposed to any generic voice actor isn€™t really clear. Perhaps they€™re both Bond fans and just wanted to be involved.
