12. The Frozen Names

Frozen might not be as good as Tangled (it's the truth, just accept it), but it was still an amazing addition to the Disney canon (and to the company's coffers). And it has a lovely little secret of its own hidden in plain sight.

Just as Wall-E was named in honour of Walt Elias Disney and Prince Philip in Sleeping Beauty was named after the Queen of England's husband, the four main characters in Frozen owe their names to a famous source.

Hans, Kristoff, Anna, Sven were named as a celebration of the writer of The Snow Queen - the story that inspired Frozen - Hans Christian Andersen.
