Often regarded as the worst movie ever made, Batman & Robin isn't just a bad because it screws Batman's legacy and makes a mockery of everything that the character stands for, but because it is uncompromising in its endless barrage of annoying moments. You can't watch for longer than 30 seconds without something irritating happening in Batman & Robin - be it a character uttering a cringeworthy one-liner or the hyper-neon aesthetics. It's hard to imagine that anybody on the set of Batman & Robin genuinely believed it to be anything other than a disaster, but this film was apparently made with a straight-face. Batman & Robin is such an annoying catastrophe of a film that you can feel your blood boiling as you sit through the carousel of mind-blowingly ill-judged scenes. The Bat Credit Card? The Bat Nipples? Those are just the icing on the cake, pal. And then there's Clooney's smarmy Bruce Wayne, whose breezy, devil-may-care attitude is unendurable.
