15. Sparking A Civil War (Captain America: Civil War)
In the comic book version of the Civil War story-line, the cataclysmic event that pits the heroes against one another is the result of superhero reality television gone wrong. The New Warriors were filming a show in which they would go about their regular routine whilst being followed by a production crew. They bit off more than they could chew when they confronted Nitro, a man who is able to blow himself up and proceeded to do so, wiping the small city of Stamford off the map. Disney would surely never allow Marvel Studios to show the charred remains of schoolchildren in one of their biggest films to date but whatever happens to kick off the war has to be equally catastrophic. If Black Panther is involved then all signs are pointing to something happening in Wakanda or at least to a prominent Wakandan. The Winter Soldiers actions will be the driving force behind the ridge between Stark and Rogers and it will take more than a personal dispute to force the heroes to go to war. If Winter Soldier is to take Nitro's place, its going to be hard to take sides with Captain America if hes protecting a guy that turned an entire school into a level of Splatoon.
