14. Chaos Walking
Chaos Walking finished shooting in 2017, but wasn't finished until last April due to extensive reshoots which were helmed by Fede Álvarez (Evil Dead) instead of original director Doug Liman. To say this movie has had a troubled production would probably be an understatement then.
However, with Tom Holland (Spider-Man: Far From Home) and Daisy Ridley (Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker) in lead roles, it's hard not to be intrigued, even if the premise is a weird one.
In the movie, Todd (Holland) meets Viola (Ridley) after she crash lands on his planet (where all women have, for some reason, vanished). Weirdly, the men there all suffer from an affliction called the "Noise," meaning their thoughts can be seen by those around them. The driving force of the story seems to be Todd trying to save his newfound love interest from whatever happened to the planet's other women.
While it's coming in 2021, a specific release date hasn't been revealed yet.
