4. The Dirt

Jackass creator Jeff Tremaine might not stick out as the most likely candidate to handle a serious project like a biopic, but his experience working on Jackass and Wildboyz probably puts him in a strong position to tell the story of notorious hell-raisers and hard rockers Mötley Crüe.

This film has been in development since 2006 with the band very keen to get it made, but it's taken until now and Netflix to rescue it from development hell. Tremaine was obviously very keen as he's been signed on since 2013 and he's got a great cast including Iwan Rheon and rapper Machine Gun Kelly.

Let's hope they don't sanitise it, because there's a LOT in the band's history that is as unbelievable as it is debauched. It basically all makes Bohemian Rhapsody look like high tea with the Queen.
