15 Most Foul-Mouthed Movies Ever
5. Casino
Number of F-bombs: 422 (2.40 fpm)
Martin Scorsese beat his own personal best with the release of crime epic Casino back in 1995. It’s another collaboration between Scorsese and writer Nicholas Pileggi and – funnily enough – it features gangsters and a hell of a lot of swearing, which Goodfellas taught us go hand in hand.
Set in Las Vegas, Casino tells the tale of two mafia associates – played by the typically potty-mouthed Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci – sent to Sin City to run a casino for the Chicago mob and was once the holder of the enviable title of World’s Most Sweariest Movie.
Casino’s 422 uses of the word f*ck (plus a plethora of other colourful expletives) aren’t even that bad compared to its infamous ‘head in a vice’ scene which was far more eye-popping (pun intended) than any swear word.
Choice F*ck Quote: “I got your head in a f*ckin' vice. I'll squash your head like a f*ckin' grapefruit if you don't give me a name.” (A verbal illustration of that infamous head in vice scene courtesy of Joe Pesci).
