15 Most Foul-Mouthed Movies Ever

3. Summer Of Sam

Wolf Of Wall Street
Buena Vista

Number of F-bombs: 435 (3.06 fpm)

In the late 1970s, New York City was living in fear at the hands of a local serial killer named David ‘Son of Sam’ Berkowitz who went around stalking young couples and shooting them until he was eventually apprehended in the late summer of 1977.

Spike Lee brought this true-life crime to the big screen with his 1999 film Summer of Sam. Set in an Italian-American neighbourhood in the South Bronx, the movie focuses on a fictional group of friends during the summer prior to Berkowitz’s arrest as they deal with not only the looming presence of a serial killer but also one of the most intense heatwaves NYC has ever seen alongside their own tumultuous personal lives.

Living in constant fear that you could well become a serial killer’s next victim is the kind of situation that would have even the most proper of us swearing like a sailor, so Summer of Sam’s 435 F-bombs are kind of understandable.

Choice F*ck Quote: “You linguine d*ck mother f*cker.” (Probably the best insult on this list so far)
