15 Most Heart-Wrenching Moments In MCU History
10. C'mon, Spider-Man! - Spider-Man: Homecoming
Spider-Man is a kid. That's why his death is so hard to take in Infinity War. Parents shouldn't have to see their children die, but that's what happens with Tony and Peter on a planet so far from home.
But even before that Spider-Man was breaking out hearts, from his very first scene. His concern for his aunt, his excited commitment to the Avengers, his enthusiastic, clever fighting, and the way he kept going when being knocked down.
That's the key to Spider-Man. Like Captain America, he always gets up. He always keeps going. And no scene represents this better than the one in Homecoming. The Vulture has dropped a building on Spider-Man. So much is resting on his shoulders.
He can't do it, he can't do it, it's crushing the wind out of him, but he gets up, saying, "Come on, Spider-Man, come on, Spider-Man," and it's the best and truest Spider-Man scene in the MCU. And one of the most heart-breaking.
