14. Superman Returns – Justice League
It was immediately clear Superman’s “death” in Dawn Of Justice wasn’t going to last very long; the floating dirt before the film cut to credits saw to that. Plus we need old Supes around for the Justice League, so his temporary state of deadness will clearly play into the story.
It’s been teased he’ll be somewhat darker upon return, with Henry Cavill literally sporting a darker suit in set images. It'll be interesting see how Justice League handles his eventual return, and if he'll be on the side of good or not.
Zack Snyder will no doubt milk this resurrection for all it’s worth, and it will give Cavill a chance to play a different shade of the character.
