14. Thor: The Dark World's Naked And Insane Selvig

Post-Avengers, the Tony Stark in Iron Man 3 is shown suffering from a sort of post-traumatic stress disorder as a result of curbing an alien invasion initiated by the Norse god Loki. Meanwhile, in Thor: The Dark World, Stellan Skaarsgard's Dr Evin Selvig deals with being brainwashed by Loki by streaking a lot and being a comical nutter.

There's a striking difference in the portrayal of mental illness in the two films. Tony gets dignity, his PTSD expressed sensitively and accurately; Selvig, meanwhile, who actually had somebody literally mess with his head and do heinous things, it a stereotypical mental patient who keeps stripping down to his Y-fronts and babbling incoherently.

That's some major cognitive dissonance whiplash and, even accepting the second Thor film's largely comedic tone, it's a little inappropriate. Funny though seeing a famed actor who appeared in Ingmar Bergman films running around in his pants is, it's a little inappropriate in comparison to the events of Iron Man 3, and not particularly sensitive.
