8. Eye-Popping - The Greasy Strangler
In truth, The Greasy Strangler is the kind of movie that is so baffling and so provocatively bloody weird that you might be forced to pause it several times either to enjoy the perversion or to simply collect your thoughts and recover temporarily.
It's a mad romp through an unhinged imagination, featuring some of the crassest, weirdest moments in the history of film, and it's almost like it is intended to be utterly unwatchable. But the one guarantee is that you will have a moment to take from it and share with uninitiated fellow film fans.
And though some of the other more deviant moments are arguably more memorable, they're harder to recommend without you all judging me terrible, so instead this cleaner, but no less brilliantly odd moment gets the nod. I mean why wouldn't an elderly character covered in grease be able to pop the eyes clean out of a victim's head using only his choke hold?
