14. Man Of Steel - Whose Satellite?

Man of Steel may not have been quite the start to DC's Cinematic Universe that they had hoped for, but that didn't stop the whole world from watching it.

It was an interesting take on the Man of Tomorrow, giving him a darker, gritter turn than many of us were expecting, but it certainly had its high points.

Seeing Superman throw down with fan favourite General Zod is always something to behold. The two have identical powers, and the fight between them was of suitably epic proportions.

As a great many of Superman's fights tend to, the scene eventually took the pair into space. The Man of Steel grabs hold of a satellite, which upon closer inspection is marked with the Wayne Enterprises logo.

This may seem like a small way to give a nod to Batman fans, but the implications of this particular branding were larger than a simple Easter egg.

The choice to include such an open nod to Bruce Wayne seemed very much to confirm that the Dark Knight would soon become a part of the DC Cinematic Universe, which proved to be true with Man of Steel's sequel, Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.
