15 Most Perverse Movies Ever Made

3. Ilsa: She Wolf Of The SS (1975)

An SS Officer, Ilsa is in charge of a camp in which she performs gruesome experiments on the female inmates to prove to the Nazis that women have higher pain thresholds than men and should therefore fight on the frontline. The men in the camp fare no better than the women, though - they are used as sex toys by Ilsa, and when they inevitably fail to satisfy her in the sack, they are routinely castrated. The film is highly lurid and crammed to the rafters with sleaze, the most perverse Nazisploitation movie mainly because it is well acted and has relatively high production values. Dyanne Thorne, who plays Ilsa, has a strong, sadistic presence along with a killer body. Thorne would go on to reprise the Ilsa role in a series of films, but she would never be as iconically perverse as in Ilsa: Shewolf Of the SS, which is so morally objectionable, it has been banned in the UK for over 40 years.

My first film watched was Carrie aged 2 on my dad's knee. Educated at The University of St Andrews and Trinity College Dublin. Fan of Arthouse, Exploitation, Horror, Euro Trash, Giallo, New French Extremism. Weaned at the bosom of a Russ Meyer starlet. The bleaker, artier or sleazier the better!
