The director of this disgusting film was apparently tickled pink when he found out the BBFC had banned it. Looking at the film, which is possibly the most blatant and extreme torture porn movie ever made (with the possible exception of Tumbling Doll Of Flesh), there is no way the censors could even begin to mitigate the perversion of the film with their snipping scissors. The plot is basically as follows: a young couple are abducted by a man, brought to a torture chamber and tortured. Obviously inspired by the notorious Guinea Pig films, the most egregious part of the movie comes at the beginning, when the madman strings up his victims and "manually stimulates" them until they show very visible signs of sexual excitement. This is totally repugnant and actually more upsetting than all the slicing and dicing in the movie. One for very, very jaded palates.
My first film watched was Carrie aged 2 on my dad's knee. Educated at The University of St Andrews and Trinity College Dublin. Fan of Arthouse, Exploitation, Horror, Euro Trash, Giallo, New French Extremism. Weaned at the bosom of a Russ Meyer starlet. The bleaker, artier or sleazier the better!
