Jason Stryker is the mutant son of the anti-mutant covert operations specialist William Stryker. Played by Michael Reid McKay, the character appeared in X2: X-Men United and was depicted as a powerful psychic illusionist who could also exert a level of telepathic control over those affected by his illusions (Keely Purvis also cameoed as a young, cryogenically frozen version of the character in X-Men Origins: Wolverine). Such was the level of Jason's power, he could mess with the powerful telepath Charles Xavier's head (albeit when Xavier had been brainwashed) and almost made him kill every mutant in the world. A fluid from Jason's brain was also harvested by his father in order to mentally enslave people. While he was wheelchair-bound, physically frail and mute, his mind was an extremely potent weapon.
