15 Most Ridiculous MCU Controversies

1. Daredevil Criticised For Lack Of Audio Description

The Controversy: When Daredevil's first season was released on Netflix, there was an uproar about the lack of audio description, meaning that the superhero's blind fans wouldn't be able to enjoy the show.

To Netflix's massive credit, within mere days of the complaints emerging, they provided audio descriptions for the entire season. That's impressive.

Why It's Ridiculous: For one, this is another case of people who are unaffected by the issue campaigning on behalf of people who may or may not care about the lack of audio description. Are there that many blind people who want to watch Daredevil? Is a superhero show going to appeal specifically to blind people just because the protagonist is blind?

Netflix did the right thing for the sake of PR, and of course it's great if those blind people who want to watch the show now can, but at the same time, getting in a huff and puff about something so trivial is just daft, especially when it doesn't even affect most of the complainers.
