Look, not even the most hardcore Super Troopers fan is going to tell you that this long-awaited cult comedy sequel is a genuinely good movie in any classical sense, but is it funny? Hell yeah.

Reuniting most of the original cast for an aggressively stupid stoner comedy jam-packed with callbacks to the 2001 original, Super Troopers 2 isn't a bigger, better sequel, but it is a welcome blast of nostalgia that's clearly crafted out of love rather than greed.

It won't do anything for the uninitiated - the original Super Troopers has an almost identical critical rating, for starters - but as 100 minutes of inspired nonsense, it does more than enough for fans.
