2. Norwegian Ninja

In a sense there's little point in elaborating on what it is about Norwegian Ninja which makes it suitable for a list of weird movies - the title pretty much says it all. It goes without saying that the words of Eric Vogel that "something like this has never been made in Norway before. Or the world, as far as I know!" Amazingly, Norwegian Ninja is actually based on real life events, revolving around the Norwegian King Olav V's secret army of ninjas tasked to ensure the safety of the country's sovereignty and clandestine interlopers who were attempting to destabilise the country using false flag attacks. If this sounds crazy, it's worth remembered that these stay behind armies did indeed exist and were exposed carrying out terrorist attacks to blame on communists in the BBC documentary series Timewatch. Which, it goes without saying, was nowhere near as ridiculously entertaining as Norwegian Ninja.
