6. Batman & Harley Quinn

In the very same year that cinema got its first critically and commercially successful female superhero movie, releasing a blatantly sexist animated film co-starring Harley Quinn couldn't have been much worse-timed.

Cheaply animated, full of ill-placed fart jokes and touting an overabundance of sexual content (Harley sexually assaults Robin, but he gets a boner, so it's OK?), this is cynical, pandering garbage fit for only those DC fans keen to hoover up every last thing even vaguely Batman related.

If you thought things couldn't get any worse than Batman and Batgirl shagging in last year's rancid The Killing Joke adaptation, just look at the above screenshot and think again. Good grief.
