15 Movies That Made 2017 The Dumbest Year Ever

4. Geostorm

You know what you're getting when you sit down to watch a movie called Geostorm, and true to form, this is a disaster flick hilariously lacking in anything approaching common narrative logic.

With a little tinkering, it'd be easy to believe this was an intentional parody of terrible disaster films, because it's certainly a lot of fun to laugh at.

The most stupid aspect in the entire film is the fact that the titular calamity never actually happens, a staggering copout which probably put a huge dent in Geostorm's box office potential.

Loaded with stock, cardboard characters, moldy one-liners and sub-Michael Bay execution of dusty genre tropes, Geostorm is at least one of the more entertaining dumb movies released this year.
