15 Movies You Wrongly Assume Are Terrible

11. Quantum Of Solace

What Everyone Says About It: "A major misstep after the brilliance of Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace is too rushed, too violent, too dour, and suffers from a bland villain and two relatively forgettable Bond girls, while hurling Bond through a generic revenge story without much charm, flavour or directorial flair." Why It Isn't Terrible: On its own terms, Quantum of Solace is a perfectly serviceable, entertaining action film, all the more so considering that it was mid-production when the infamous Writers Strike happened, throwing the scriptwriting process into chaos and causing director Marc Forster and Daniel Craig to finish plotting things out themselves. It may not be grade-A Bond, but it's certainly in the top half of 007's cinematic outings: a good deal more disciplined than the majority of Roger Moore's outings, for one. Yes, it's not perfect, but given how it's sandwiched in-between two undeniable Bond classics in Casino Royale and Skyfall, it gets an unfair share of the flak.
