6. Unfriended: Dark Web

In 2018, most people will have seen the horrific horror movie turds that were Slender Man and Blumhouse's own Truth or Dare instead of Unfriended: Dark Web. That's a very sad thought, since Dark Web was a nail-biting thriller and arguably one of 2018's best horror films.

Dark Web is relentlessly suspenseful, genuinely nasty and full of clever twists. Better still, it comes up with characters we actually care about and that we really want to survive the film, making it an even more stressful viewing. Best of all, the romance between the protagonist and his deaf girlfriend is very sweet and touching. Who'd have thought?

Dark Web is an upgrade over its already solid predecessor and easily one of the most underrated horror sequels of the decade. Unfriended 3, anyone? Sure, go for it.
