5. Thor "Dies" & Goes To Hel - Thor: Ragnarok

The Prediction: Thor will "die" at some point during the movie, presumably at the hands of Hela, and arrive at Hel, from which he'll have to escape.

The Reality: Even though Thor is one of the few Avengers who can be killed and brought back to life without it seeming overwhelmingly contrived, he in fact survived the entirety of Ragnarok in one piece, and even with Hela being the film's primary villain, there's no mention of Hel whatsoever.

The closest thing fans get is seeing Thor imprisoned in Muspelheim by Surtur at the beginning of the film, but it's looking like Thor's death might instead be saved for the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War.
