10. Deckard Dies - Blade Runner 2049

The Prediction: Deckard will die at the end of the movie, passing the torch to Ryan Gosling's new Blade Runner K to continue the franchise.

The Reality: This is pretty much the exact opposite of what happens. K is presumed to die at the very end of the movie from injuries suffered in his final fight with Luv, while Deckard survives by faking his own death.

There's no torch-passing moment to speak of, which is probably just as well considering that the movie was a box office bust and as such there's virtually no possibility of a sequel happening anytime soon.
