11. Dutch Is The "Predator Killer" - The Predator

Many fans hoped that Arnold Schwarzenegger might appear in Shane Black's The Predator for a quick cameo as the original movie's hero Dutch.

However, writer-director Black was quick to confirm that though Arnie was offered a role, he rejected it for not being substantial enough.

But when The Predator underwent extensive re-shoots following disastrous test screenings, hope was renewed, that a desperate Fox might've dumped a truckload of money on Arnie's lawn to convince him to appear.

And when the final moments of the film hyped up a "Predator Killer" weapon, that seemed like the perfect opportunity for Dutch to step out of the pod, ending the movie on a fist-pumping high.

But alas, the Predator Killer turned out to be a goofy Iron Man-esque armoured suit and Dutch was nowhere to be seen. Curiously, two alternate endings were shot where the Predator Killer was actually revealed to be either Ripley or Newt from the Alien franchise.

As for Arnie's originally planned role? A leaked script report suggests he would've appeared in a sequel-bait tag at the end of the movie, arriving in a helicopter and imploring Quinn (Boyd Holbrook) and Rory (Jacob Tremblay) to come with him.
