15 Problems Nobody Wants To Admit About 2015's Biggest Movies

14. Spectre Will Probably Fail To Top Skyfall

After the disappointment that was Quantum of Solace, 2012's Skyfall brought Bond kicking and screaming back to the same level of inspired brilliance that made the Casino Royale reboot so entertaining. Sam Mendes directed the hell out of it, Roger Deakins delivered the series' best-looking entry to date, Javier Bardem was a fantastic villain, and the movie as a whole took a more interesting, introspective look at Bond. It combined old and new school Bond so perfectly. What, then, can Spectre bring to the table? It certainly has the talent to be another classic Bond film, what with Mendes returning, Hoyte Van Hoytema (Interstellar) serving as cinematographer, Christoph Waltz taking the villain role, and Monica Bellucci and Lea Seydoux playing the Bond girls. However, Skyfall is an extremely tough act to follow no matter your credentials, and with information emerging during last year's Sony Pictures hack of budgetary issues and a leaked script which upset many of the series' fans, it's entirely possible this could be another Quantum of Solace, or simply just a decent Bond film which can't sit with the best. Sure, that teaser trailer released looks pretty spectacular, but didn't everyone think Quantum looked amazing when the first trailer dropped too?
