15 R-Rated Comic Book Movies That Need To Happen After Deadpool

For all of the success that Marvel Studios has had with its recent films, the one thing it hasn't done yet is feature a street level vigilante in a movie. Audience's have seen super-powered patriots, men in armoured suits, and rampaging monsters, but it might be time to show off a regular dude in a gaudy costume cracking the skulls of some pimps and drug dealers. 

Sure, Netflix's Daredevil is amazing, but it's time for some big-screen carnage as well.

This is where Moon Knight comes in. Created in 1975, the character has often been referred by many within the comic book community as "Batman with issues." A powerless human being (if you ignore the time he was bitten by the Werewolf, and when he was possessed by his own God, Khonshu) who has trained to an extraordinary level of fighting prowess.

A film adaptation actually seems quite likely seeing as that Captain America: The Winter Soldier Easter Egg was probably not thrown out there for the heck of it. An R-rated version? Well, that's probably less likely.
