15 Reasons Jurassic World Was Absolutely Perfect

Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are together for a large chunk of the movie, and the two have great chemistry with one another. Not necessarily romantic chemistry, although that's a small part of their relationship. But just as a team of two characters working together to accomplish a goal and save the day, Claire And Owen are a solid pairing.

Chris Pratt is of course memorable as always. Sure, his character is a pretty typical Harrison Ford type manly hero, but Pratt totally nails that, and he's a tremendously likable protagonist and very easy to root for. However, Bryce Dallas Howard's character is actually the biggest surprise of the movie. From the trailers and the marketing, it seemed like she was going to be a boring, stuck up corporate type with not a lot of personality.

But that's definitely not the case in the movie. She does start out in that territory, but her character quickly breaks free from that and becomes a whole lot of fun. There's in particular a great scene she has with Pratt involving her trying to loosen up a bit, only for him to respond with a confused, "what's that supposed to mean?" 

Between Claire, Owen and the kids, the cast in Jurassic World is very nearly as good as the original. Except Jeff Goldblum. Unfortunately, nobody comes close to matching his magnificence.
