5. Jason Biggs As Scorpion

Unlike the others in this list, this one is a rumour that could still actually happen. Spider Man is being rebooted for the third time with young English actor Tom Holland in the role. He is expected to make his on screen debut in the forthcoming Captain America: Civil War with a solo outing soon after. Holland's youth means we can probably expect/endure a third telling of Spidey's origin story, but as is often the case a lot of the buzz around the movie is about potential villains, and who might play them. A bizarre rumour doing the rounds last year was that one of the bad guys would be Scorpion to be played by the incredibly menacing...Jason Biggs. Yes, that Jason Biggs. Of Orange Is The New Black and American Pie fame. Then again, this is a franchise that has previously cast James Franco, Topher Grace and Rhys Ifans as its antagonists, so it's impossible to guess what random nonthreatening presence they might pick to battle Spidey this time around. Jason Biggs, though? Well, it still might be better than Billy Zane. And yes, that's another casting rumour for a villain in the same film.
