9. Tony Gilroy Made $5 Million For Fixing Rogue One
Much was made of the substantial re-shoots undertaken to re-shape a big chunk of Rogue One's third act, which was spearheaded by Bourne writer Tony Gilroy, who was paid a hefty $5 million for 12 weeks of script revisions and re-shoots, where he reportedly took the lead over director Gareth Edwards.
Not a bad pay-day at all, but considering the reports that have emerged about how pivotal Gilroy's contributions were to the final product being as decent as it was, it seems like a fair investment on Disney's part. After all, you get what you pay for.
