8. Alternate Endings Revealed Ripley & Newt As "Predator Killers" - The Predator

The ending to Shane Black's The Predator was ripped apart by fans and critics for being a shamelessly goofy slice of sequel-bait, in which the "Predator Killer" weapon was revealed to be an Iron Man-like armoured suit.

As was revealed when the movie hit home video, Black actually filmed three endings, with the other two revealing iconic Alien franchise characters Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) and Newt (Carrie Henn) inside their respective Predator Killer pods. For added effect, Ripley was to wear a Facehugger-like mask over her face.

It's easy to see why these endings didn't make the cut - they are fan-service verging on pandering after all - but they at least would've ended the movie on the right kind of WTF as opposed to what we got.
