2. Who Was Filming Maz? - Star Wars: The Last Jedi

When Finn (John Boyega) and Rose (Kelly Marie Tran) seek out the help of Maz Kanata (Lupita Nyong'o) in order to get rid of a First Order tracking device, she speaks to them via a video call and tells them to head to Canto Bight and locate a master codebreaker.

However, during the call Maz is engaged in a "union dispute", where she's firing guns and rolling around in the midst of battle. This raises the question: who the hell is filming her? Who would bother risking their life to roll around and follow Maz? It makes even less sense as the camera perspective even changes when Maz turns around, so are we supposed to believe there's two people filming her? And they're both invisible? Wha!?

There doesn't seem to be much of a logical explanation to this beyond, "we needed to dump this exposition somehow". Apparently having Maz just standing in front of a stationary camera while backed into a hallway and firing at her enemies wasn't sufficient, so instead we got this totally ridiculous and nonsensical scene instead.
