15 Terrible Mistakes That Almost Ruined Terminator For Everyone

1. Lack Of Dark Humour (Terminator Salvation)

One of the biggest complaints about Terminator Salvation was its almost total lack of humour. While Terminator 3 had goofiness, Salvation didn't fare much better with its aggressively self-serious approach, which was in stark contrast to the black humour of the first two movies, which nevertheless lightened the emotional load and ensured the movies stayed more fun than grim. Salvation, though, is just a somber slog at the end of the day: everything's lent the import of Shakespeare and Bale is trying to do Serious Acting but sorely needs some levity to work with (undeniably harsh though the apocalyptic scenario is). The previous three films all had one thing in common: they were daft and they knew it, but Salvation doesn't seem quite so keen to accept its own ridiculousness, and as such it's a strangely off-putting outing. Are there any other cringe-worthy moments that nearly ruined Terminator for you? Shout it out in the comments!
