15 Terrible Mistakes That Almost Ruined Terminator For Everyone

13. Arnold's Dong (The Terminator)

In the opening minutes of The Terminator, the malevolent T-800 (Schwarzenegger) arrives in Los Angeles in the middle of the night, and heads out in the nude to acquire some clothes. Just as he heads over to Bill Paxton and his buddies to deprive them of their duds (and their lives), audiences get a wildly unnecessary shot of Arnold walking towards them, his junk clearly visible flapping around for a few seconds. In fairness, this wasn't really especially noticeable until the Blu-ray version of the movie hit stores, but ever since, it's been burned onto the retinas of Terminator fans everywhere. Did Arnie really need to do the scene completely naked? The movie was low budget for sure, but couldn't Cameron have stretched for some artful lighting or one of those anti-nudity coin-purses, or you know, maybe just shoot him from the waist-up?
