4. Let's Be Cops

Rotten Tomatoes Score: 20% Why It Sucks: Talk about a movie that just couldn't live up to its brilliant potential. Despite great chemistry between Jake Johnson and Damon Wayans Jr, this inventive take on the buddy cop movie quickly loses momentum once its premise is established, de-evolving into a generic crime comedy that becomes much less funny the more it focuses on actually having a plot. What should have followed along the same lines as 21 Jump Street is instead closer to a lame imitation of one of the lesser Lethal Weapon movies. Why It'll Become A Cult Classic: Because it's such a great idea for a movie that many will be drawn to it regardless of its numerous flaws. That, and the excellent banter between Johnson and Wayans does provide intermittent joy between the painful crime plot. Also, it's so frequently outrageous and over-the-top that it's sure to find plenty of supporters on the home video and Netflix markets.
