One can't help but feel slightly sorry for Lex Luthor. Aside from early onset baldness, the maniacal genius also has to contend with an archenemy who possesses every single superpower ever imagined. Abilities like strength and flight don't seem too extravagant, but when you factor in x-ray vision, freeze breath and cellophane 'S' emblems, it hardly seems fair, does it? Wait... what!? In the final throw-down between Supes and Zod's followers in Superman II, a new superpower was thrown into the mix, one we had never seen before and are yet to have seen since. Somehow, Superman throws an expanding 'S' emblem at Zod, briefly trapping him in a strange plastic coating. Just as quickly as it appears, the trap dissolves and no mention is ever made of it again, as if everyone involved is as confused as the audience watching. Even within comic book logic, this bizarre power is beyond ridiculous and doesn't turn out to be even vaguely useful... unless of course Zack Snyder decides to sneak it into Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice. Batman is only human after all. If Supes doesn't want to melt the vigilante using heat vision or punch his brains out, perhaps a sticky cellophane coating is the way to go.
