1. Fully Appreciating That There Will Never Be Anything Like It Again
After almost 30 years of fantastic work, Studio Ghibli fans are now left wondering whether or not they will ever experience the awe and excitement of laying their eyes on a new Studio Ghibli movie, the likes of which Miyazaki could create. With the company in Hiatus and the retirement of Hayao Miyazaki, it doesnt seem as though things may never be the same again. Although we still have the undeniable creative geniuses of Isao Takahata, Hiromasa Yonebayashi and Miyazakis own son and success in his own right Goro Miyazaki, it cannot be denied that it was Hayaos vision that made the studio what it became. His movies are some of the most spellbinding and thought provoking of the entire Ghibli collection, and his unique look on life will forever be missed by one of the most enchanting production companies to have ever graced the silver screen. Studio Ghibli will hopefully continue to create engaging, beautiful and mystifying material that fans can enjoy for years to come. What little things make you a diehard Ghibli fan?
