There are many strings to the Downey, Jr. bow, but one that rarely ever gets mentioned is his education in England and the classical ballet he learned there. Owing to his father's international work schedule, Robert spent part of his formative years in California, New York, Connecticut, Paris, and a small borough of Chelsea where, in 1977, he attended the famous Perry House School. He wasn't there for long though, and by the time the next school year rolled around he was on the move again. The school's strict rules and high-brow reputation weren't really to his liking though, and in an interview on the matter he recounts his time there with his tongue firmly lodged in his cheek. "I don't want to say I did anything correctly at Perry House because the truth is that I spent my whole time there with my nose in the corner, being a moron".
