Robert Downey, Jr.'s love life is, for someone with such a chequered past in other areas, quite modest. He's been married since 1992 (albeit twice), and such is his straight-laced reputation these days he doesn't even get linked to his co-stars anymore. However before married bliss ensued he was one half of the most underrated power-couple in America with Sex And The City's Sarah Jessica Parker. The two had shot to prominence in the 1980s and met through her brother's production company. The relationship blossomed, but was blighted and eventually torn apart over Downey, Jr.'s drug use. Still though, 8 years is pretty good.
