A whole host of familiar British celebrities make subtle cameos throughout Shaun Of The Dead, with some appearances being more obvious than others.

The likes of Vernon Kay and Trisha Goddard appear as themselves, hosting talk shows that appear on television screens in the film, but some other well-known names lent their voices to the film and appear more subtly in television voice-overs and radio broadcasts.

David Walliams, who also worked with Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright by appearing in a couple of episodes of Spaced, narrated the nature documentary and contributed the line “eaten alive” as Shaun is channel hopping, blissfully unaware of the zombie outbreak.

Elsewhere, Keith Chegwin can be heard commentating over the ‘It’s A Knockout’-style game show, ‘Fun Dead’, while Rob Brydon lends his voice to narrate the ‘Zombies From Hell’ TV programme.
