3. Star-Lord VS Ronan Dance-Off

It's almost as if the writers wanted to finish this one off the way it started - with Star-Lord gettin' down. And if you thought the intro dance scene was cheesy, this bit takes it to a whole new level. Strutting his stuff to the Five Stairsteps "O-o-h Child", Quill steps up to the demonic Ronan The Accuser and challenges him to a dance-off. Sounds ludicrous? It is. Be sure, no other Marvel movie hero thus far could have pulled it off. But Chris Pratt isn't your average Marvel star. This is the only time we see Ronan genuinely displaced, his face wrought with sheer confusion at the sight of Star-Lord busting a move among the ashes of a crumbling Xandar cityscape. "What are you doing?" he probes, dropping his frosty, scornful demeanor for an instant. It's a question the audience would have been asking too, as even within this quirky film it did seem a little far out of place. But that's all part of the plan.
