The Pitch: When the chipmunks believe that Dave (Jason Lee) is going to ditch them once he proposes to his new girlfriend, they embark on a road trip to stop him. Hi-jinks and a bunch of high-pitched wailing inevitably ensues. Why It Could Score 0%: Because it's the fourth entry in a critically-reviled franchise that's scored 27%, 21% and 12% respectively, so why expect an uptick in quality at this stage? It's clear as day to anyone who's seen the wretched teaser trailer that every actor in it is just there for the easy paycheck (and thankfully, most of them get to maintain some of their dignity by not appearing in live-action form), and though it might keep the very youngest of children quiet for 90 minutes, it's going to be pure agony for everyone else.
