14. Ed Harris - Geostorm

The Role: Secretary Leonard Dekkom, a member of the President's (Andy Garcia) cabinet who is in the room with the POTUS when he learns that Earth's nifty climate-controlling satellites have malfunctioned and are unleashing Hell on humanity.

Why He'll Be Wasted: This is a pure paycheck role for Harris, basically pulling a "Melissa Leo in London Has Fallen" by bringing his unique gravitas to a part that absolutely doesn't need or deserve him.

Harris will play the stuffed shirt who gets to bless the film with his presence for a few scattered scenes, but he almost certainly won't make a dent by doing anything of consequence, unless it's sacrificing himself to save the President in act three, of course.

Everyone's gotta eat, and Harris is at least smart enough to keep his blatant payday roles fairly infrequent.
