13. Ellen Page - Flatliners

The Role: Courtney Holmes, a medical student who begins experimenting with stopping her own heart for brief periods in order to try and catch a glimpse of the afterlife.

Why She'll Be Wasted: The sad truth is that this sci-fi thriller is likely to be a feckless retread of the classic 1990 film (rather than the sequel that it's claimed to be), and from what the trailers have shown off, Page doesn't look to be up to much of interest at all.

Considering that Page's last major studio movie was 2014's X-Men: Days of Future Past, she's clearly just collecting some easy cash here, with a script that almost certainly won't give her or the rest of the ensemble cast (including the brilliant Diego Luna) much to do.
