15 Weird and Wonderful Movies With Killer Dolls

9. Demonic Toys (1992)

Produced by Charles Band, who also gave us Puppet Master, Demonic Toys is an entertaining malevolent toy movie. While never achieving the heights of the Puppet Master movies, the film's titular stars do have the distinction of appearing in a crossover film called Demonic Toys vs. Puppet Master. In my mind, the best part of this film franchise (other than Tracy Scoggins) is the batch of toys the movie's demonic villain has animated to do his bidding. In this first movie we get to see the foul-mouthed Baby Oopsy-Daisy, a Jack-in-the-box with fangs, a ferocious Teddy bear, and a laser-shooting robot.Weird or Wonderful? - More weird than wonderful. The plot is not original and the foul-mouthed baby is too dang cliche for my tastes. Worth watching once, but never again.
