15 Weirdest Moments In Harry Potter Films

12. Dance Class - The Goblet Of Fire

Weird doesn't necessarily mean bad, and the dance class scene from Goblet of Fire was quite a welcome addition to the insanity that was the fourth book adaptation.

With the Triwizard Tournament comes a tradition called the Yule Ball, in which all three represented schools come together for a night of dance and socialising. In preparation Professor McGonagall organised a dancing class for the students of Gryffindor House, something which the girls are chuffed at and the boys could care less about.

Comedy highlight goes to Ron Weasley and his bewildered expressions when asked to demonstrate with the elderly teacher, placing his hand on her waist and being very bad at the whole dancing thing himself. Lowlight though goes to Ron's fat-shaming of one of the girls. Not cool, Weasley!

As funny as this scene is, why was it necessary? Surely there are some magic classes that are being skipped to fit this in, stuff that these young witches and wizards should be learning to prepare them for their future?
