The Scene: After one of his lewd iPads is hurled out of a window, Jay (Jason) recovers it from the paving outside his house, only to declare with stunned amazement, "Man, the construction on these things is incredible!" Why It Sucked: You can practically hear Jason Segel's soul dying as he reels off this promotional zinger for Apple. Though there are several scenes throughout in which he or other characters big-up the technical prowess of Apple's famous tablet, this scene is easily the most egregious, written solely out of commercial obligation, because why else would any screenwriter insert such a blatantly out-of-place line in a sex comedy?
Stay at home dad who spends as much time teaching his kids the merits of Martin Scorsese as possible (against the missus' wishes).
