15 Worst Superhero Movie Costumes Ever

1. Deadpool (X-Men Origins: Wolverine)

And finally, we have by far the most obnoxiously awful superhero movie costume ever, and one that enraged a large swath of the X-Men fanbase. Ryan Reynolds was of course perfectly cast to play Deadpool, but in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, he was forced to wear inappropriate garb not once but twice.

For the bulk of Wade Wilson's role earlier in the film, Reynolds wears a red tank top, black vest and green khahkis...and that's it. There's not even a cursory attempt at making a comic-accurate Deadpool costume: they just found a red shirt on sale in Primark and were like, "That'll do."

Things got far more offensive in act three when Deadpool was resurrected as Weapon XI, however, with his mouth sewn up, bizarre annotations drawn on his body in magic marker, and a pair of maroon yoga pants thrown in to seal the deal.

This version of the character has been mockingly compared to Mortal Kombat's Baraka ever since, hence the nickname "Barakapool." Reynolds at least got to redeem himself eventually, but fans are never going to entirely forget how aggressively Fox buggered this up.

Which of these ugly, laughable superhero movie costumes do you loathe the most? Shout them out in the comments!
