15 Worst Superhero Movie Costumes Ever
10. Emma Frost (X-Men: First Class)
Compared to the depiction of X-Men's Emma Frost in the comics, the movie version played by January Jones looks positively restrained.
Still, for the standards of a contemporary comic book film, her cleavage-spilling array of costumes throughout First Class feel immensely tacky, while further evoking the distinct fembot comparisons already brought about by Jones' shambolically wooden performance.
Does a movie co-starring Jennifer Lawrence, Rose Byrne and Zoe Kravitz really need to pander this blatantly to teenage boys? It should've been a no-brainer to give Frost a classier re-design, and one suspects if this movie had happened just a few years later, things would've been much more tasteful.
This is definitely a rare case where being fairly comic-accurate was actually a negative.
